Just Returned from NBM Show (continued)
It may seem that I spend most of my time speaking to Universal laser folks although they were my favorite there were others that excited me too. The next day there was a class Friday morning at 9 am with Rowmark Plastic. Just started using their product to produce smaller signs and the results are fantastic. It's a primitive use of their product but, many, many possibilities if it's used as it was designed. Their plastic comes in so many varieties of color, texture, and thickness. It's durable and tough. Basically a signage product with stand-offs. Stand-offs are metallic fixtures...
Just Returned from NBM show
Just got back yesterday from the NBM (National Business Media) show in Indianapolis. And what a show it was...for me. I don't usually attend every year and after the last couple of days maybe that will change. It's an exhibition show along with classes. The show covers three areas: awards and engraving, sign and graphics, and print wear. I’m only interested in what the laser can do and it's probably the most versatile tool. The drive to Indy from Chicago was uneventful and took about three hours to drive 183 miles. Got there well in advance to make my first class...

This isn't case of just adding a line here or there...well it is. These lines are elliptical. Altering one is altering all of them. A few years back at a Greek festival we were given the most tables ever...six! Unheard of. Eight footers! Plenty of space. With the extra space unwanted signs that I thought no one would want and might be possibly sold for less were receiving...
Spring Time
It's time...it's time. Spring is HERE!!! Spring means warmer weather, sunny days, optimistic outlook and Greek festivals. Last year I was bogged down with a large architectural model that was difficult and distracting to complete. You had to keep your mind on it and not get distracted with other Kantyli stuff. Kantyli stuff is fun! I missed two shows last year and you can bet I'm bursting at the seams to be ready for this year. First Greek festivals of the season are St. Demetrios, Elmhurst and St. Nectarios, Palatine. I’m looking forward to participate this year. Quite a few...
